Good evening all, we would like to formally invite all model boat club members to an open day taking place on the 6th of July 2014. The day will begin at 10am and finish around 5pm on the night. All model boat clubs and boating traders are welcome to attend – though I would appreciate a response so I can ensure smooth running on the day. All types of model boats are welcome; scale, fast electric, IC’s, Offshore, Yachts, Hydro, Warships, Steam powered, Sails, Tugs and whatever else you could have possibly built!
Throughout the day we will have half an our slots dedicated to different boating types and a few free sails for models that don't quite fit into a category. The venue is outside so please don't feel shy about bringing gazebos and a picnic! The club is accessible to disabled members and is an ideal family environment. When you enter the park you will drive past the café and information centre which is beside our newly built locomotive train ride! The children’s park has just been rebuilt lakeside so please do not hesitate to bring your family along. The water park itself contains hidden nature trails for you to explore the other lakes we are home too – if you need help I will happily point you in the right direction! Should you be interested contact myself by replying to this email,
[email protected] or contact our club chairman Mark Beesley,
[email protected] . Alternatively visit our website on
http://www.kwpmbc.co.uk/If you would like any more details or to register yourself (which is not compulsory to attending) or you club to our event then feel free! I am more than happy to help with any of your questions or concerns and I do hope to see you all lakeside. Please note that there is a £3.50 entry fee to the park.
