Graupner 2349 Mini Jet Drive Alternatives?
« on: January 20, 2014, 05:37:40 pm »

Watcha!

Life's been not so much "up and down" for the last six months so much as resembled one of those corkscrew roller coasters.

However, I'm back fiddling with the model boats again, including the Traplet Pilot launch: 25" displacement hull.

I got it into my head to use jet drive in it and the Graupner 2349 looked good.......except that it's out of production and I can't get any anywhere.

So, are there any alternatives?  Not to pricey.  Not too powerful.  With reverse.

Then there are THESE ones. Built to operate decoy ducks  :o
No reverse that I can see and I've no idea how good they are.

not sure about the ones you have found on the bay , ive used the nqd version and there not bad , but they run a smaller impeller shaft than the graupner version . i then bought a graupner 2349 , which self destructed in just a few outings !
