After a great open day we are now looking forward to our naval day on Sunday the 7 September. In the park on the same day will be a classic car rally. If you are planning on coming to the naval day I would advise to be on site no later than 10 30 more in formation to follow.

Just over a week now to our annual naval themed day I hope to have Mountfleet models on site and we are trying get model boat bits also. Although the day is for warships you will be welcome to attend with other vessels except I. C. AND HIGH PERFOMANCE FAST ELECTRICS. If possible be on site before 10 30 due the park also holding a classic car rally not bad 2 events to fill the day all we need is a dry day.

Stan, sorry to let you down, but the 7th is my wife's birthday and family lunch organised.  If I were to go missing, I couldn't afford the divorce !!
Have a good day,  cheers  Jim W

Today was our last main event of 2014. I cannot believe that 2014 has passed so quickly. We have been blessed with great weather for  our 3 main events and great support from traders and visiting clubs from all areas of England. I must say a big thank you to all traders that kindly donate prizes to our Open day raffle, you people make the day. We must not forget the modelling press for listing all our major events for the year and finally a big thank you to Mayhem for allowing us to use the site for promoting our main events for 2104. If I have missed anyone from this post I do apologise but to list everyone that make these events go so well would take for ever. I hope that 2015 will be as good if not better for our main events, the dates will be put on mayhem in January. With that I would like to wish you all the best with your winter projects, have a very good Christmas and a happy New Year

Hello,

I was at the Navy Day, with my schooner, Bluenose.
There was a Cannon on the Bow of the boat to comply with the "Navy " aspect !!.
Real good weather and people - - just like a big Family.
Didnt do any sailing, there was a compete lack of Wind !!.
Jason has taken almost the same photos as I did, so no need to repeat.
Roll on their next show, really good !.

Good morning John so glad you have enjoyed your visits to us this year. On the question of your Bluenose fitting in to the naval theme please see the following.

Picture of the model and how you made it into a warship.

Picture of the dock area ready for a busy day. Hopefully this will be extended next year with more detail added. Also seen bobbing about yesterday was the ghost of Wilton Park lake.
