A couple of weeks ago someone mentioned a free website that could be used for model clubs?
I cant find it so is there anyone could give me the link please?

Not sure which one was mentioned before but the "Weebly" free website creator is easy to use and has some nice templates.

Was this the one where a chap was doing a college course and he needed to build websites for his exam so offered to do so many for free to model boat clubs?

not sure, but there are a number of model boat clubs who have sites on 'wiki' long before that offer appeared on here
