Riviera type speed boat
« on: May 06, 2014, 08:17:58 pm »

If anyone is familiar with this type of model I am looking hard
for a chromed plastic air scoop or vent that fits on the deck at stern end of the boat please.
Haven't come across one from my usual suppliers Cornwall/Westbourne etc.
Thanks....

;) Aeronaut do some nice fittings of this type, made of cast metal and plated,Cornwall might be able to get them for you very good at things like that,Ray. ;) ;)

Any idea of the makers if still around.?
Two options
If unobtainable take the remaining one off.
Will anyone know they were there.
Use the one remaining as a pattern to cast a new one.

Just thought of a third,
Look for something very near in style and size and buy 2.

That's called lateral thinking Ned!
Yes, I suppose could do any of those suggestions.
I don't know the maker.

I'll start looking for another pair of scoops shortly if nothing crops up.

Hello Nordlys
Are these any good? I've a couple of spares which are for my Amati Riva.
They're yours if you want them for the cost of P&P.

Brian, I know the fittings you have posted - I have these on my boat, its the larger
pair that sit ON the deck that I'm trying to track down.
Many thanks though for your help.
