Hi William - I have just looked up the original purchase details and they are as follows below - "This is a Billing Boats static plastic boat kit of the RNLI Waveney Class Lifeboat. However it was modified to run on RC as a small easily controlled model boat to run on a garden pond. An excellent runner it uses an Acoms AR201 two channel AM receiver driving twin motors via the fitted ACTion speed controller. Original vac moulded deck has been fitted out and test run The remainder of the kit is still in the box awaiting fitting. I would suggest modifying the existing deck layout to allow access to the batteries etc. The hard work has been done and the boat powers along quite well. There is no hand controller with this boat, however they are very cheap and easily available from among others Howes of Oxford." This was one of my impulsive purchases with the intention to complete it but has been overtaken by other larger RNLI lifeboats. The original chap who built it came from the Peterborough area and it may be that you might find some information if you made contact with Howes of Oxford who might have supplied the motors regards Stuart
