Traditional Boat Squadron of Australia Boatfest
« on: February 22, 2014, 11:02:13 am »

The Traditional Boat Squadron of Australia are holding a "Boatfest" in Canberra this weekend and I went down To Lake Burley Griffin this morning to have a look at some of the boats. Here are a few of the photos I took

It's the first time I've seen them there. Power boats are not normally allowed on Lake Burley Griffin but they got special dispensation. It was celebrating the 50 years since the dam was closed and the lake started to fill.
