Hopefully the weather forecast doesn't look too bad for this coming Sunday 27th April.   Competition for best steam model and Mountfleet model.  Free parking, refreshments.  Boiler tester should be on site.  We hope to have a large display of steam models on the water around 2 p.m. If you have not got either a steam or Mountfleet model you are still welcome to attend with you model.   When entering the park speed must be kept to 5 mph and hazard flashers must be used. This is a Council requirement.  See you all on Sunday all being well.

I am pleased to say the weather was kind to us again being dry with sunny spells and warm at one bit. I would like to thank members from St Helens MCB, Runcorn MBC, Ormskirk MBC, Balne Moor MBC, Goole MBC and any others I may have overlooked. Our steam tester was kept busy most of the day. I would also like to thank Mountfleet Models for attending. The event now seems fixed in the model boat calendar and we look forward to seeing old and new faces at this event in 2015. You do not need to have a steam model or Mountfleet  model to take part. Kirklees will be holding further events in May, July and September. More details will be placed in the club section in the near future. I have loaded the first picture of the day's event with more to follow later. :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))
