Just a quick question.  Why do some lifeboats fly a Red RNLI flag while on others it is White? is it an age thing i.e. the flag changed over time?

Hi
Red should be flown at all times. White is a house flag and can be flown at any time.
Red is flown from the Starboard lanyard & white from the port.
Be sure to get the correct size of ensign. BECC is the best maker 1/16th scale 400mm X 200mm I think size C. please check.        (1/12 550mm X 250mm please check this one as I only do 1/16.)

PS from last posting RNLI FLAGS ARE ONLY ONE SIDED SO READ FROM STARBOARD RNLI. READ FROM PORT IT'S A MIRROR IMAGE.
