  Hi,guy's,I am thinking of building something different like an hovercraft, I what I would like is something simple and basic to learn the principles and technology, also it has to be not to large and easily  managed,so anyone out there can put me in the right direction with where to get plans and the like,also any tips you have I would be very grateful,thanks,Ray.

palaform is probably you best route , they sell a kit called the griffon 600 , its a basic single motor kit made from depron sheets which you have to assemble , it has a skirt included , the basic kit is around £ 70 ish , they also sell others depending on which sort of craft you like the look of

Pretty sure Marine modelling international did a plan called "finger trouble" basically a smaller version of the Griffon 2000

Right pAlaform. Are the only uk based hovercraft Supplier. The proprietor. Is very helpful person!  The entry level out is a fusion 400 with 2options for  motors I would recommend. Tge brushless. Option. Next intermediate. Kit is the griffin 600.  If you want other hovercraft pAlaform do a range of. Other kits as well.  Fir something different. Look up marks model hovercraft for plans of beginners to advanced at Present I'm building the griffin 2000tdx. Which is a 1/10 version of the griffin 600.

iv just built a palaform gemini hover for the missus running a mds 40 ic engine,jag at palaform is very helpfull and does smaller kits as stated in other replys,well worth a look
