–    Open day and Regatta-
 
 
Sunday 7th September 10AM TIL 4PM
At Black park country park-
(off the A412 near Slough,Berks,- SL3 6DS)
 
DISPLAYS ON AND OFF THE WATER
 
YACHTS, LIFEBOATS, CRUISERS, WARSHIPS, SUBMARINES, TUGS, STEAMBOATS, TRAWLERS,AND MANY MORE ! – ALL WELCOME
 
(SORRY BUT NO IC BOATS ON THE WATER…)
 
KIDS ‘HAVE A GO BOATS’, RAFFLE, TOILETS, AND CAFE
FULL FACILITIES FOR THE DISABLED INCLUDING 'SCOOTER' RENTAL, PAY AND DISPLAY PARKING,
 
 
 
ALL PROCEEDS TO THE   RNLI

I just want to say a very big thank you to black park model boat club,
  I turned up with my family and a boat today just on the off chance we might be able to sail it, and I cannot believe how helpful and acommadating the members where, the people organising the channels said it would be no problem and even lent us a spare crystal so that we could sail, we spent a nice afternoon, my nephew had a sail with there own club boats, and we had more than enough time to sail our boat, What a very friendly and relaxed club,   and a full credit to Black park model boat club.

many thanks to all those who came along,
 thanks to the visiting clubs ( from as far afield as Norwich, luton,& Basingstoke)
 and thanks to all those who made the day what it was,


 the sun shone, the wind was light but the RNLI collection buckets went away with some funds, so all was well !- roll on next year !

Shame on you.  BOARD!!!!!  The wonderful skills and enthusiasm of modellers around the country, looks like you had a superb day with great support from other clubs, we all wish we could do better??? my school report 50 years ago!!!!!  Less of the soapbox, great you could organise the event, thanks for the photos.
