From the "Live and Let Die" 007 film , never knew they built a 28ft scale model ( approx 1/5th scale )

she's not in Fleetwood davie......I can vouch for that, lol.

does this dispel the "fact" that they used the real trawler in the sinking  then, or was she still scuttled to make the film. neil.

the St Georges went back fishing for a month or so after filming but was scrapped very shortly afterwards ( leaked like a sieve apparently lol )

Using a 1/5th scale "model" would make the film look very real even today it would still look a lot more realistic than CGI

well, well.........I always thought it was the actual trawler they scuttled in the film.

Do you remember the film 'The Last Voyage' with Robert Stack? Thay filmed it actually on board an old liner then sank the ship for real.
