Shopping - Where to buy running gear?
« on: November 10, 2014, 08:32:51 pm »

Hi All

I need to collect together the hardware for my latest plastc models - a Heller Avenir 1/200 Ferry and a 1/200 Nichimo Yamato.

I've bounced around lots of websites & ebay trying to hunt this stuff down for the best prices but my brain is hurting flitting from page to page so is anyone able to shorten my chase?

I need:
6x M2 propshafts - 180mm-ish (200mm would be fine)
6x cheapo rubber 2mm tube shaft-couplings - the 50mm long types
6x 20mm propellers - preferably LH & RH 4-bladed but I'm cheap so 6x 20mm plastic 3-blade rh will do.
6x 2mm shaft lock collars.
2x small brass rudders

Where would be the 'no brainer' (cheapest) place to buy it all from?

Many thanks.  :-))

ps - I already have stainless M2 nuts & washers & motors, ESCs, mixers, radio gear & batteries kicking around.

That's the problem - too much choice - can anyone narrow it down a bit - some shops appear cheap but stuff you on the postage, some have no stock, some don't quite have what I want - has anyone had success with a cheap supplier that hold stock that have reasonable postage rates?  Accepting Paypal would be good too!
