Ok guys, who can recommend a diesel sound generator with good tone and volume and must speed up and slow down with the motor revs?

Hi Phill.
Action electronics are good for what you are after, plenty of choice, and a fantastic sales service. They also have a great list of applications and diagrams, if there is not a diagram of what you need, they will produce one, (that's the impression I have).
Hope this helps.

I bought the Technobots one, decent price & sounds pretty good.

Mtroniks have a few diesel sound modules for boats. I have the Napier Deltic, nice and loud!  :-))

Hi
I also bought one of the Technobots sound units, and with a bit of tuning, to the pitch, stroke, and tone, you can cover most type of engine. There is a full manual with it. I hope this helps.  :-))
