Hi guys,
I have just bought myself a new project, a 54" model of the Vic Smeed Vivacity. It looks to be very old and is completely built from wood.
I intend to strip back all the paint and give it a full restoration.
My question is....is there a certain colour scheme for these boats as I am struggling to find out much information on it. I have found a couple of pictures but not of very good quality.
As it is built from wood I am hoping that the paint comes off well as I fancy possibly a slightly off white hull and a varnished superstructure with white roof tops as I think cruiser type boats look very good like this.
Does anyone have any ideas or any information on these boats that can help me to decide what to do with it.
