In the Nauticalia Catalogue, on page 11, there is a R/C model  of a Severn Class Lifeboat. She is 1 1/2 feet Long and is complete RTR. Price is 59,95 Pounds. Anyone know anything about her? Order Number is 95914.  Web Site is, www.nauticalia.com

I've just bought the identical model off ebay and it was considerably cheaper there.  We have a couple in our boat club and after being modified they sail really quite well.   Have a look in the Lifeboat section of Mayhem for "Baby Severn" to  get pics of the model and modifications.

These boats use use very cheap low power radio which is usually swamped bystandard commercial sets. Also no rudder as they use tank steering and the motors are in pods. So I think quite expensive if you are going to convert to a decent control system. As a fun boat, sailing alone, probably OK.
