v912 helicoper 2.4g issue
« on: August 27, 2014, 01:12:05 pm »

I have a 4 channel easy control 2.4g. my remote control turns on but when the throttle is pulled all the way back the rotor blades on the remote are still turning. I've tried the trim tab ad adjusted it but doesn't seam to affect it,
is there any way to reset the remote. to make the throttle 0 when the throttle stick is pulled all the way back.

At the risk of stating the obvious:

1. FIRST turn the transmitter on with the throttle in the lowest position.

2. SECOND turn the heli on.

These WL helis rebind every time they are switched on, and I assume reset the throttle failsafe position at the same time - or at least that's what happens with mine  :-)

tried that even at the lowest point the rotors on the display are still spinning which indercates that the throttle is not back to 0

Sadly it is sounding like a mechanical failure or maladjustment of the throttle pot or trim pot - though from what I remember from when I took mine apart a fair while ago, the trim 'pot' is just a mechanical 'rocking' of the throttle pot.

It may be worth - if the heli is out of guarantee, taking the transmitter apart, and seeing if there is a mechanical reason for the throttle not being allowed to drop far enough - eg a piece of moulding flash not being removed properly when the transmitter was made.

Is there a "sub trim" in the programming menu for that channel?

Have the rotors on the model stopped when this happens? If so then why are you so bothered?
