Hi Folks Sunday 5th October Tug towing & Scale event at Balne Moor mbc this is our last
regatta of the season. Tug towing is for a new trophy that we had donated by North Sea
Winches. There will be Refreshments on all day. Start at 10.30 ish come along and enjoy

A raiding party from North of the border is planning on gate crashing the party.

Some of the GRMBC guys will be there.

Hi John I am sorry I could make your final event of this year but the best laid plans sometimes have to change. I think you did have a number of our members attend today. I asked Margaret to pass on my apologies for missing today. I hope you have great day look forward to the pictures will be in contact later this month re dates for next year.

Just like to say a big thank you to all involved in making the last event of the season absolutely brilliant. Looking forward to seeing the pictures from our new Scottish photographer and all of clubbys videos !!!

Yes I would like to add a big thank you to all that attended our last event of the season
thanks to the lads form Glasgow Richmond club, Ron I've just let the sheep back out

This event was a first for a new Trophy that was donated by North Sea Winches.
As Shady say's it was absolutely brilliant. Now for the photos.

Hi Guys just wanted to say what a fantastic day we had to today. A fantastic turnout lots of new faces . It was a pleasure to see so many people turn out for what was a brilliant event for both tug towers and scale captains alike . Would just like to thank you to the girls who have run our fantastic catering facility for the whole season the Butties and cakes have been a treat and all served with humour and a smile . I would just like to thank my pal shady Aidy and the sponsor of the event North sea winches for the fantastic shield for this competition and the lovely trophies . I'm sure it will be a cracking yearly event for years to come . A lot of changes have taken place at the pond this year and would like to thank Eric Austwick and Diddy Paul Rudkin for all the improvements to the edges of the pond, and all the organizing teams Mr Pollitt / Roy Witton & all the other Guys & Gals that got down and got dirty and that have put so much work in, to make this a fantastic a season at Balne moor . Also our pals from the Wirral who travel over 180 miles most weekends just to come have a tow and a laugh and take home all the trophies

and I aint kidding

hope to see you all again next year .

Many thanks again guys for a fantastic day and a brilliant year .I've enjoyed it more than winning the lottery

well all the other posts say it all but this venue is the best place I have been, seen or heard of in 18 years in this hobby and its the people that have made it what it is today thanks to you all I have had the best year visiting you and I'll be back lol
