Oakley Class
« on: October 09, 2014, 05:33:52 am »

Just out a matter of interest... I know you Lifeboaters are normally into the Big scale stuff... but  :embarrassed:

is any one interested in a 1:24 scale Oakley..??

also a little question... does any one have any detailed Photos or so called close ups..
they would help me in making the fittings..

Hull lines have been scanned into the CAD system and the templates are ready to be transferred onto Wood...

Keel should be laid in the next couple of weeks, so the pug should be ready for next year...

was just wondering if there would be any interest...!!  ok2

Hi Colin

I have some photos, which I took, of the two Oakley lifeboats preserved at Chatham: JG Graves of Sheffield, 37-01 and Will and Fanny Kirby, 37-05. Please PM me if you would like copies.

Regards
