Is MMB still going??
« on: November 06, 2014, 10:08:02 pm »

I have been trying to contact MMB recently, have sent emails & just get an answer phone when I call. They weren't at Blackpool & their website seems to be down. Are they still in business (hope they are) as I was after one of his hulls...

Paul..

Yes Mark is still in business and I was only speaking to him the other day.

As for the website, that was working last week so assume there may be a technical issue.

He did change telephone numbers a few months back . 01633 843949

I was only talking with Mark a couple of days ago, to order another Mister unit. Everything sounded normal.
However, there does seem to be a problem with the web site since then.

Hi Guys, yes we are still going strong... :-)) :-))

We have been very busy with lots of new projects on the go (unfortunately not all boat related <:( <:( ) The latest one we have just finished is an O gauge resin truck kit (just over 9" long) for a model supply company down south. The masters were completely scratch built by myself & Hannah assembled & painted it... This had to be finished to a quite tight deadline which is why we did not go to Blackpool this year....

Just as a side note, we are doing a lot of GRP work at the moment (once you start you have to finish) so if you do ring & there is no answer, keep trying as we are most probably up to our elbows in resin!!

Mark & Hannah..

I am really pleased with the model, a lot of work went into the masters (& a lot of swearing as well!!) but the finished article was well worth the effort...

Foggy going in the post today Bob...

Here's a level of service that deserves a mention:
My new foggy arrived Saturday, super fast. But I had a query on wiring connections so left a message on Marks' answerphone.  Sunday at 9 am he called me back, after checking my Mayhem 'online' status to make sure I was up. All sorted. Many thanks Mark.

Anyone calling him please bear in mind he is laying up a lot of fibre glass hulls at the moment so may not always be able to answer the phone.  Leave a message.  He will get back ASAP.
