Billings Flyvefisken prop size
« on: November 10, 2014, 07:00:24 pm »

Get folks, does anyone know what prop size this boat uses? The bright spark who built mine has used some huge two blade x type props. First time I ran it there was rather a lot of smoke from the esc.

The original props were those horrible 3 bladed things with an odd thread and being plastic they would flex under load.

Have people had to replace the shafts? Or are there replacement props out there that fit?

I used standard 4mm shafts in mine because  you cant get brass replacements with that thread.
