my mate took his boat to the lake yesterday ok took it today servo acting up.. ok on right rudder but takes ages to get left rudder like a second hand on a clock but slower  any clues..  or any spare servos around  thanks gordon

Recharge or replace Rx battery first.
Disconnect rudder tiller arm from the servo and try it again.
Try servo on a different receiver channel.
Make sure the rudder turns freely in its tube when the pushrod is moved by hand.

 well if working t`otherday and playing up to-day sounds like receiver battery flat.  what about the speed control is it answering ok.

hi all when we came back from the lake took servo out and tried it with new  batteries  the same.. ok on right rudder but moves very slow  on left put my servo in boat all ok gordon

 B4 you bin servo snip the lead off it as this can be re used

That's the one! Don't forget to remove the output disc/arm and the mounting grommets, too.

Keep it to strip down for turning into a propulsion unit - control board might be fine to experiment with.

I use the old servo gears to make miniature winches, plus a few washers and plastic tube....waste not want not.
