Slightly off topic but still with vacuum bags, if youve got a stock of vintage 40/50/60s wooden boats, Aerokits, veron etc waiting their turn for restoration pop them in these bags and you can store them just about anywhere that's sheltered from the worst of the elements (unheated garden shed, loft or even in a plastic garden box) without any further deterioration to their condition. Chuck a few moth balls in the area and no vermin either. Some of mine have now been in this storage for three years, I check them every year and put a little vaseline around the seal and job done for another year. My trouble is that I aquire more than I can restore.
Word of warning though, don't suck out to much air otherwise you'll have a flat pack!
Paul.
