I have the opportunity to get a True Blue kit - can anyone who  has one of these boats please advise how easy/difficult it is to remove and fit the mast and sails for transport.

Not sure how easy but not too difficult.
One thing though, True Blue is very much a light wind boat
and not good in moderate to strong winds.

A further thought if anyone has one of these boats - will it fit in the boot of an Escort / Corsa size car boot please ?

40'' bow to stern  69'' base of keel bulb to masthead  so if you got near a 40'' inch wide rear boot opening  on her side should go in.
 I travel rigged but the mast  just slides out  so should be easy  at lakeside  but no me. As for wind Ned i'd say nearer light to moderate

 You're welcome  one thing   to think about is the sail winches  graupner use  two working together and they can struggle a bit.Could be worth considering fitting  just one with more  strength/

I transport my True Blue in an estate car with the back seats down it goes in fully rigged, I found it was a bit of a fiddle to rig at the lake especially with a breeze blowing the sails and rigging about, trouble is it's been rigged for so long now the mast has seized in place, it might be advisable to smear some Vaseline on your mast base , and yes definitely a light wind boat.
