Hi there,
have you tried calmac themselves I remember they used to have copies of
the plans on display on the ferries themselves.
the Juno/Jupiter drawings are available from my hobby store as well as some old calmac paddle steamers
If you are going back to the 50/60's and before try the glasgow mitchell library or
the glasgow Uni they have archives of ships built on the clyde as most were.
I have put some websites below that may be of use
http://www.calmac.co.uk
http://www.clydesite.co.uk
http://www.myhobbystore.com
http://www.archives.gla.ac.uk/
hope this helps

Hello and welcome to Mayhem. The April 2007 Model Boats magazine contained free plans for the car ferry Bute and I'm sure you'll find a plan available from Model Boats plan service for a semi -scale version of one of the Island class bow loaders. I don't know of anyone who does ready made models but Deans Marine do a kit of the Muirneag which is, as you know, chartered in for the Stornaway - Ullapool freight run. What I'd like to see is someone produce a kit of the Clansman or Lord of the Isles.
Have a look on
www.shipsnostalgia.com
in the Model ships section for pics of some excellent scratchbuilt models by a chap called Ernest. (edit - they start on page 65)
Best Wishes
Douglas
