That would be fine....
I always try to get an esc that can handle roughly 50% more amps than the motor needs as chinese amps seem to be quite a bit smaller than EU standard Amps  ;)

Any one from this range,  choose your preferred amperage of those available from the UK warehouse and order when it is in stock there, or else reserve one for when it is back in stock.

I use the Hobbyking car ESC's, these are easy to setup with the programme card.
They have reverse which you can set to 25% and the start power % which I set to 10%.
This gives you a nice slow speed in reverse and a nice forward start speed.
Also change the advance timing to the highest(max power at the top end of the throttle.
