Hi,


New to this forum and my project...convert Revell Flower Class Corvette to RC. I have been given an MFA 919D 6:1 gear ration motoring electronize 43HX speed control. Are these suitable for this boat? If not can someone provide a recommendation for me?

A nice 385 with a 35 mm brass prop direct drive worked well in mine on 6 volts the speed
control will be fine.

Welcolm to the forum, the 919 you have is to heavy and powerfull, as Delboy said, use a MFA 385 direct drive with the 35mm prop.


The Electronize ESC is brilliant, i have 4 of the beasts, but they are a bit bulky, have a look on ebay for a brushed esc from the car boys, come in at less than a tenner, keep the weight down, and keep the ballast even lower,


Like the real thing, they roll like anything.

Scroll down to P81 and click on More Info button. This will do the job very nicely and has better slow-speed control than a car ESC.
You can buy one from Component Shop, who also sell 385 motors, battery packs, chargers, connectors, cable etc etc.
