:-)) Yes make sure you go on the UK site then all the prices are in pounds, pay by paypal is best, the set does not come with instructions but you download from their site (I printed them out and keep in a folder)extra rx is about £6 and if you don't want the battery holder you can get a lipo battery from them I used mine all last year without recharge,Ray. :-))

If you can afford it, go for the Taranis. Up to 16 channels, vastly more flexible than the 9xr, and superior build quality.

It's where they are made, I believe.

However, caution might be advised as it's only a machine.    {-)

I just checked Hobby King & their global warehouse are showing lots of Taranis in stock. Prices range from $172.00  to $219.00 U/S. That is where I got my 9x, no problems. Right now the Taranis is getting good reviews & I would be temped to buy a Taranis ,you get lots of channels & as another member said good quality too. I hope you don't mind me saying but you seem to have problems searching the net. I would suggest you get a friend to help you learn the fast & easy ways of finding items on the net. don't get upset I took a long time until a friend spent an evening teaching me ( several in fact, I'm a slow learner.) cheers Mick B.

I found the hobby king king ones etc but I don't like ordering from overseas. I don't fancy being stung for customs charges etc. I will only order from UK sites.

You'll pay more for the set anyway, if you get it in the UK. If you go with Hobbyking, and there is a problem with the set, you can return it to their UK warehouse, even if purchased from Hong Kong

I don't know what companies you have dealt with in the U/K  & overseas, but my experience has been that it was U/K companies caused me the most trouble, In fact I have had none with off shore companies, like China .I must state here that there are some great British Traders, but with one in particular it has been over 2 years without being resolved. Another took the money off my card the day I ordered & I never got the goods. So I would say it is not where you order from but who you deal with. PM me I can give you names both good & bad. Mick B.

40quid, 6 channels, uk seller (although I bet its just a Chinese holding address) it gets no cheaper, and its digital display. I got one of these for our club owned club 500, its brill, you just set up on plane mode, not helicopter, comes with a receiver, I am sure it has more than 1 model memory, cant remember :-))

whats the model number, and what do you want to do with the channels, I might be able to help, but need to have a look at the tx spec

also, if you already have 9 channels, what do you need more channels for? just need to understand your requirements

It's an FS TH9X  transmitter. I'm wanting proportional channels so I can operate trawl doors independently and also the net drum aswel as all the usual throttle n rudder etc

ok, are you familiar with rc planes or helis?, sorry to sound like an inquisition! how many channels are required to operate your model without any extras, eg, throttle, rudder, anything else (im not into tugs so humour me if it has more channels just to make it work!)

I no nothing about planes or helps.  I need 5 channels without the channels to operate the trawl net. My other option is to leave the net static on a drum
