Anyone got a set of plans for a Oakley 48ft Mk2 (sliding doors) Lifeboat for sale, or know where I can get some without paying extortionate prices please ?
Also required, Liverpool Mk1 (single screw) plans

I believe the National Maritime Museum now has all the RNLI Plans for sale ,and I think they are a very reasonable price

I presume you have checked out what the RNLI can supply? They can do the 48' Oakley

Yes iv rung them, the shop staff don't have a clue what im talking about (slam doors v sliding doors, mk1 mk2 etc)  & theres no-one else available to talk to, hey ho, i'll wait another day ;-)

I think the Oakley plans on the website (pictured below) are what you want. It was the later version of the Solent Class that had the Slam doors. All the 48' Oakleys has sliding doors, except for the prototype 48-01, which didn't have any doors, but had an open aft cockpit.

@ Charlie , that's the one on the RNLI site is it ?  I couldn't make their pic enlarge enough to see, & the description wasn't much help.
