kort nozzle installation
« on: February 06, 2015, 06:00:09 pm »

Can anyone advise me how to correctly install a steerable kort nozzle and prop. I have just received my nice shiny prop and nozzle from propshop and don't want to mess it up

HI make a template the same inside diameter as the nozzle bolt the prop shaft through the centre this will give an  accurate fit.  the prop should sit in line with the pivot point of the nozzle ..hope this helps..Bill.....

Quick question.  Is it best to bond the propshaft in first before lining op the nozzle?

...Hi City trawler...

If you use Milliput to position your kort nozzle & shaft using the disc in the kort nozzle...

Milliput doesn't set right away so it gives you some time to line everything up correctly then when you are happy with everything just put the hull somewhere safe overnight and you will find it solid in the morning...

I Hope this helps...
