Aldi   have one on offer this week.  I was tempted myself as they weren't expensive.

Drones will really push development of micro cameras and drive down prices, I honestly believe. Have a look on the drone forums, and then check out Amazon.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/SparkFun-SEN-11171-FlyCamOne-eco-V2/dp/B007XEIK30

These are very good, powered from your rx and controlled from a spare tx channel.
We use these in or 1:10th race cars

If you want to have the picture transmitted back to you then have a look at some of the kit on https://www.firstpersonview.co.uk/ they also do camera's that are only 1g or 2g in weight. Another thing to remember is that with all the 2.4ghz transmitters around you need to use 5.8 ghz to prevent interference.

I completely agree with the last sentence.
Any downlink on 2.4giggles will result in
interference on the monitor from any radios around
including your own.

There are tonnes of little key fob cameras, and then a clip on camera or two available out there.

It is a bit of grab bag, but I have one, and it seems to take decent video.
What I find missing is the image stabilization that higher end cameras feature.
If you look around on Amazon there is a glut of GoPro knock offs, That might sell
for as little as ₤28. The SJcam 4000 is one of those. Not that it would fit inside
the wheelhouse, but I suppose that depends on how big your tug is scaled.
Of course you would need to purchase a 32gig micro memory card also.
