members that make our boat & ship parts
« on: March 16, 2015, 04:31:52 am »

There are some very talented people among our members. I was on a search for what I would call gangway lights, the long ones that come out & then point down on to the Gangway and stairs on most boats & ships. I made a very thorough search of all the places I could think of & then I found the right person right here on the forum, you all know her as UMI because she gives lots of intelligent advice on here most days. I must tell you that in a short space of time  she had sent me a picture  & then made up the number I ordered & in a  couple of days they arrived as promised. Looking through her web site I found a whole lot more bits & pieces that we all use day in & day out. So I would say next time you need that hard to get part & others too, UMI probably makes it or can if asked. Thanks for reading this and when you can, support a very good club member, thanks UMI.
