The model depicts one of the japanese subs washed up on a Hawaii beach in 1941

My models are not nice, clean and ship-shape. They be mucky, grubby, rusty and smelly.

Excellent colouring of the sub... the water is fantastic!
Never seen water modelled so well, just how did you do it?

Fibreglass matting pulled apart and resined perhaps?
I have seen something similar, but not as good, done with torn tissue strips and layered and coated with pvc glue. The effect of the ragged edges of the torn tissue really does look like waves.

It be the old fave of sealant by the look of it. I use it on my models for sea/waves etc.
