A policeman bravely went into a local house nearby after a shot was heard. On entering the house he discovered a woman in the kitchen with a gun and her husband lying dead near the door.
"I got fed up warning him about walking across the kitchen floor just after I'd washed it" she told the constable. On calling the story in to his sergeant he was asked it he had arrested the woman.
"Oh no, not yet" said the constable, " the floors still wet"
