Costume play. Various costumes.
« on: June 08, 2015, 07:59:15 pm »

As well as doing various models and trying to get to my boat club I also enjoy going to comic-cons, when my illness allows me to get up in time.

This is where folk dress up as super-heroes etc and you can get model kits etc and just have a laugh.

So for your amusement a fat bloke in costumes

Me in a 'Star Trek' Away team outfit from the film 'The Wrath of Khan'.

Me in another 'Star Trek' outfit from the same era of the films. I am in a Commodores dress uniform.

Here I am in a totally scratch made 'Cyborg' outfit. This has flashing Led's in the arm and mask area, also in the backpack are Led's and a counter.

And finally, the last costume, will not be making anymore. Me as a fat-dandy pirate.

Si:)

Good for you Eddie. My God daughter is a fanatic Cosplayer and is always creating new costumes and buying wigs etc. I think it is a brilliant interest to generate creativity, and it is quite a social event.

You remind me of King Henry VIII, s maybe that could be a future costume to try?

Glad you like them. I do struggle though, I have to have my mate with me as I need to sit down at regular intervals, but it is a way for keeping me active, as best as I can. I enjoy it, more the faffing with costumes than wearing them lol.

Your God daughter sounds like she really enjoys it, good for her.

Henry the VIII...hmmmmmmmmm.

Getting up to do most things is very important but having fun doing it is just great.
Keep the costumes coming.

Now, Eddie might want to Cosplay 'Luther' from Fury Road and he has his nipples exposed (and pierced, Crikey, in England?) so maybe the 'Moobs' might get an outing assuming Eddie has them ;)

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned the major inaccuracy in the first Star trek photos. Two 'redshirts' and both are still alive!  {-) {-) :}
