TAMIYA 1/35: PACIFIC SHERMAN BEACHED AND LEFT TO THE TIDE.
« on: June 09, 2015, 07:10:50 pm »

I have been doing some test runs on rusting prior to applying it to this Sherman. It is set in the Pacific theatre and this one broke down, then stuck and finally left to the tide.

This is redone, the green was awful and the rust was a tad too pinky.

Thanks Howard, I have re-done this and thinks it looks better without the awful plastic plants. Glad you like it.

I think they are both brilliant.
The lush green of the first I assumed was due to it being underwater, so either set works for me.  :-))

That was my thinking regarding the first set of pictures, however it looks way to plastic and out of scale really-hence the second incarnation.

Glad you like both though. :-))
