Ebay - Check prices first!

Hi,
I noticed on EBay a bit of a difference in prices:

1258 USCG 36" Motor Lifeboat DUMB1258 DUMAS   
AU$ 205.04
AU$ 659.00
Two different sellers and both Buy it now items.
Buyer beware!

That happens a lot in the UK. I usually go through a couple of pages first to compare prices. The odd thing I have noticed is that the same seller can be selling multiple units of the same product, yet have them listed at different prices- thats what to watch for.

I usually change the sort order to 'lowest price incl p&p'.

It has been suggested that when a supplier runs out of stock, instead of pulling the listing he increases the price so no one will try to order. I think some fluctuation is driven by exchange rates varying between deliveries.
