Black Park model boat regatta and open day,( BERKSHIRE ) sept 13th 2015

  • Black Park Country Park, Black Park Road, Wexham, SL3 6DS
  • Sunday 13 September 2015
  • 10am to 4pm
  • The Annual Regatta held by Black Park Model Boat Club, who will be sailing and displaying a flotilla of model boats on Black Park Lake.
    A 'have a go'  hire fleet will be available for public and novices to sail -so  come along and see if you have the sea legs to captain your own model boat !-
     
    tombola and all funds from the day to go to the thames valley air ambulance charity
    visiting clubs  and displays are welcome, - please bring tables/ gazebos
    static and on the water displays...
     
    electric steam and sail  boats on the lake ( very fast electric and  IC boats not permitted on the lake due to local bylaws )
     
    this event is free to enter
     - ample pay and display parking at black park  is available,
       Café and toilets,
    big country park with play area, woodland walks etc- bring a picnic and spend the day !

Darn, I was in Reading yesterday with the offer of a nights kip before going home today. I could have drive over and seen what was what :((

It looked like a good day with many beautiful models. How did Poly do Bob? I hope she behaved.
