Glynn Guest models
« on: August 27, 2015, 07:18:08 pm »

Hello , I have built as per plan and sailed USS Ripley by Glynn, It sails very well indeed, I ended up with the ballast on the outside bottom of the hull faired in with filler This makes it a lot more stable and she does not lean so much during quick turns.
This success has me now building HMS Penelope and I also have the plan for HMS Sheffield which I intend to build.
Does anyone Know of the largest easy build model warship that Glynn has designed and can they please give me any details.
 Thanks,
Jim,

I think Sheffield is the largest. You should be able to see all Glynn's plans currently on sale here:

Hi, thanks, busy week end I'm afraid IOM, one meter nats on Sat (Lincoln club)  , Bmfa nats Sun /Mon.

Unfortunately the size is not always given in the description by Hobby store.
What ever happened to the old plans handbook to dream and drool over the next project.

Just wondered which was the biggest.

Hi

I know that this is a bit late in the day, but I have just had a look at an old plans handbook dating back to the 90's I think, and the biggest one is the USS Aitchison at 45".

That's all right, Mr Ryan. My Morse is so rusty, I could be sending him dimensions on Playmate of the Month.
