Working towing winch

Yo all,
    Can anyone help/advise me how to make a towing winch that works with suggestions for the layout where everything goes etc? I remember seeing a post from Norry (Glasgow) about how to do it but can I find the post "platting chance fog of more". The winch needed a motor from a cordless screwdriver which I have acquired but after that my brain, if I have one that is, has come to a stop. Help needed.

Could you use the switch from the screwdriver still wired in and then use a servo to operate it? You can get high torque servos. You might be able to remove the spring from the switch to make it easier to operate remotely.

If not can you use a high ampage ESC and an auxiliary channel with a three way option so you have neutral?
