Red Ensign with Lifeboat flag help

I have a 1 12th scale Waveney Scout Lifeboat and wanted to put a Red Ensign flag on it (with Lifeboat flag inset in it).
I know the flags sizes varied a bit but does anyone know what size to make the flag ?

Hi Nick, try this link to Harwich Lifeboat Station & download the PDf book Launched on service, there are some pictures of the Old Harwich Waveney's , & you could possibly  judge the size from the pictures ?
