Hi there,I have forgotten which way round prop pitch coarse rating go,i.e.is 4 more coarse than a 3 or visa versa,thanks for any info provided,it is for a a steam boat which needs a coarse pitch prop.

Morning sparkey.......if by example the prop was designated 4" x 5" LH
..it would be 4" diameter x 5" pitch and left handed
The other things needed are the blade profile and the mounting.......there is a WEB page mentioned on here that has images of different styles and steam is rather unique in its pitch ratio and blade profile..... Derek
