Robbe F16 and decoders

(1/1)

Jim C:
I've got an F16 with a Multi-prop 4+4 expansion module, which I've had a while but only just got around to fitting it.

all works fine but on the three position switches (x 4) the top position does not move the servo output (stays the same as the centre position) but move the switch to the bottom and the servo moves ~45 deg, in effect I have a movement of 45 deg between two positions and no additional movement (I would have expected an additional 45 deg) when I move the switch to the top position.

Is this normal, is there any way to adjust the throw. (other than modifying it myself)?

cheers

Hi Jim

I've got the same system and like you have'nt yet had to use the expansion module. I will try mine this weekend and let you know what happens (or doesn't!)

Hi Jim,

I am guessing from your comments that you have the module with four proportional knobs and four 3 way switches.  This is one of three units available for this transmitter, the others being one which is all proportional ( 8 knobs) and one all switches.  each one of these needs a different decoder - silly question but do you have the right decoder ??

Jim C:
according to the Robbe Catalogue I have, I've send 2 emails to robbe in Germany but no reply

looks like I'll have to mod it myself

cheers

Hi Jim C.

Have you tried contacting Pandan Models @ http://www.pandanmodelboats.co.uk

They may be able to help you as they sell the stuff. Their telephone number is 01458 270097

Can't remember the name of the guy I dealt with be he was very helpful with a query I had regarding an RX for an FC-16 I got on Ebay.

Regards

Declan
