what voltage acceptable new Lipo Battery

Just received  new battery today from Amazon seller it is 11.7v lipo 5500Ah/Tested it out the box  total V 10.4v  and  cells are  2.93/3.74/3.69 newbie to lipo but from what I  have read sofar this is not good. Have emailed the shop  ( no phone number )   am I correct in that this should be replaced or would it recover if charged

it should be fine.  Just needs balancing (your charger should have an option for that)

the cells are too far apart.

You might get it balanced but as it's new, I would send it back.

cell 1 is too low, was it a uk seller? best of luck with the return! :((

Thanks all  i will try the charge when I hear back from the shop    and yes a uk seller. Amazon rules say they have to reply within 3 days.

Don't charge it, if you put charge into it you just made it a 'used' item which could cause problems with the courier when you send it back.
I personally wouldn't accept it, tell the seller you reject it as being out of specification, which it is.
When a lipo cell falls below 3v it is already damaged, it's life expectacy has been reduced, it is a faulty item.

Regarding seller    my mistake Not in UK  but Hong Kong though th e Batt was free delivery and within  3days .Any road as said emailed yesterday Reply this morning
 We just arranged one replacement for you and you do not need return the original one.
It will get to you in 3~5 working days, please notice to sign for it.

Well  the replacement arrived today dont ask from where  as they only said  the would send it on wednesday  and they are in Hong Kong this one seems ok here's hoping

If you unplug the balance lead and charge to battery for a minute or two and turn it off.
Reconnect the balance lead and restart the charging.
I found this works OK.
I had the same problem and as they replaced the battery I thought wot the hell!!!
The faulty battery is still working six months later!!!!
