Hello everyone, I`m looking for some help I`ve got a trawler hull 960mm by 280 planet t5 transmitter a MFA torpedo 800 motor 60mm 4 blade prop, what speed controller do I need and does anyone have a wiring diagram?

A selection of wiring diagrams here - http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,6169.0.html - I have a feeling that the Torpedo 800 might be a bit much for a 3 foot long trawler unless its one of the short, tubby inshore trawlers, in which case a gearbox might be needed.

You need a speed controller suitable for brushed motors which will run 10A or more continuously. There should be a wiring diagram for it included in the instructions; if there isn't then don't buy it. Popular makes are Electronize, ACTion, MTroniks and Microgyros.
