Title of book sought
«

I have seen at some time a "how to build" book about small open clinker type dinghys and ships' lifeboats building over a former with individual planks. Can anyone remind me point me in right direction.
thanks

Try putting various combinations of the key words into the search facility on Abebooks. Was the book about models or full-size boats?
I'd have a hunt for you myself, but just at the moment I'm more concerned with getting our tax returns posted!

Hi,
I‘m sure there was a book published by Model Shipwright in the 1970’s titled ‘The Construction of Model Open Boats’ by Ewart Freeston. I sure I had this book which was lent out and never seen again!

I see that Amazon and Abe carry it currently;
http://www.amazon.com/Construction-Model-Boats-Ewart-Freeston/dp/0851770800
http://www.abebooks.com/Construction-Model-Open-Boats-Freeston-Ewart/6840648768/bd
If you goggle "The Construction of Model Open Boats Ewart Freeston"; You will find several other vendors for the book.

Hi thanks all. I am pretty sure it was the Freestone one and I will get a copy.
