Regatta in Spain
« on: March 22, 2016, 10:04:31 am »

Hi all, if anyone is holidaying on the Costa Blanca next weekend the Torrevieja model boat club are having a simple fun reggata at the park of Nations from 11 am until 1 PM. There's also a large exhibition in the park of our models for the next 3 weeks.

Are you a member Chas? Tell them the website needs updating none of the contacts work! Torre  is 75 kilometres from me but I already have the weekend planned.

Hi Brian, the website hasn't been operational for a long long time. We use Facebook much more now.
It's not my favourite, but that's the way the vote went.
I hope we can see you there another time.we always meet for a sail on the second Sunday of each month, 10 am until 12. At the top of the lake. Which club are you in?
Footski let me know if you are ever up this way, it's a good club and a great place to sail. Never been rained off yet!

No clubs in this area at all Chas, probably due to their being no open water! Closest open water is the Santomera embalse (reservoir) which is half way between us and Torre. I think its Tugnut who is not far from me either, he was hoping for nearby clubs. I did point him in the direction of the website but again its useless, I'll do a search on Facebook for the club.

EDIT: Its actually Tug Chief and he resides in Sax.
