I've seen the Nelson completed and it is an impressive model. I think you could double your expenditure if you bought the extra detail sets as well.

Mikasa is yet to be released and Arizona is a bit 'agricultural' as they say it is mostly a scaled up old Revell/Monogram effort, other than that, an excellent bunch of kits.

i have the kms Bismark sitting in the wings as my winter build
also have the 3 motors and shafts and props.
and 3 mini servos for the main turrets and 6 micro servos for the secondary turrets.
also the wood deck.
but as ballastanksian says if you go for all the extras it doubles the kit price.
i have looked through the kit and it is a very nice moulding with plenty detail to keep the average modeller happy for some time building it.
the extra turret kit is a nice addition to an already excellent kit

HI Guys I have the wood deck for the 1/200 Yamato having done some test pieces and put them out in the weather it soon became obvious that if the model is going to be used for sailing the deck would soon come away from the plastic they are very thin and coated with a very thin glue. Just my thoughts on the matter.

I have a Nichimo 1/200 IJN Yamato with 4 motors & 2 speed controllers - nice, big kit with lots of detail. Looks good on the water.
