Thanks for that info Jonty. I have just gone for the Vic Smeed 'Starlet' which I have admired for a long time. Fair prices, but a pity sails are not included.

Frank at Nylet will do you a set of Starlet sails quite reasonably.  My last set have lasted some 30+ years so not a bad investment.

Yes, the sales page of Belair inform the purchasers of this option. IMHO it would have been preferable to have sails complete with kit instead of having to go elsewhere.

For anyone interested in these, please note that some are 'parts only' like the Starlet. The 'kit' does not include spars, sails, plus  any fittings or plans.   
The box of parts arrived yesterday and were missing 4 pieces! On requesting the parts I received an apology and was told that all packets sent out were checked twice before dispatch!!  %)
