I have built one of those and to be honest was not impressed.
The depron is easy to cut and glue, but, really hard to get a good finish on. I eventually settled for it being not up to my usual standard.
As for running, well, thats another story, I put in the running gear as specified, expecting it to go like poo off a shovel because it is light, and, it went ok but not for long before the torque roll from the outrunner had it on it's beam ends!
So, shuffling weight around, anded up with a list one way at slow stop/slow speed, and still wanting to run on beam ends at full speed.
Any attempt to turn at speed was met with cavitation as the prop popped out of the water.
Added trim tabs, no improvement.
A smaller diameter motor and/or prop might help, but I got fed up with it ans ripped out the hardware to keep and ditched the rest.
Good luck if you decide to have a go.
